Absolutely amazing food! Delicious! The staff were very sweet and patient! The restaurant was very old-timey/homey and very comfy. I got "Stephanie's Favorite" with a lemonade (which was homemade), and it was sooooo good! Please go here if you are wanting some gooooood Mexican food!

Absolutely the best Mexican food in the city! Enchiladas and puffy tacos are amazing!!! Seasoned staff that are welcoming, well run too! Great green sauce!

This place is the best spot in SA for a delicious Tex-Mex breakfast. The best homemade flour tortillas, the best refried beans, the best huevos rancheros, it's all delicious. So much so that I used to eat here at least 2 or 3 mornings per week when I lived in San Antonio. The service is always quick and friendly and the restaurant itself is cozy and laidback. Feels like home!

When I say I've never had a flour tortilla that soft The salsa was amazing, tacos were amazing, speed of service was amazing. I am really impressed and will definitely be back.

We absolutely love this place! Their food is delicious and you can't beat the service and location. This trip we ordered the Daily Fajita with enchiladas and the Daily Puffy taco. Both were outstanding. All of their tacos have been fantastic as well. We are fans and highly recommend!!!

This is a great place for a quick breakfast with friends. Never had a bad meal here, food always arrives hot and fresh. Great huevos rancheros. One of my favorite places in town.

The food and service were great. A party of 5 our lunch total was $83.17 We ordered several dishes. The crowd is a festive group. Servers were very courteous. We did have to ask for the tortillas for our meal.

Nice little cafe on the corner of Austin Highway and I didn't get the name of the other street but it's on the corner. The inside is cute looks like it was made in the 80s. Service was OK could've been better. We didn't have to wait too long before the waitress take our order. She was great in the beginning but when we needed a refill she took a while to notice us. All in all it was ok not too bad. The food was good, nothing spectacular. My bean & cheese was the best taco. The tortillas were really good tho I definitely recommend these tortillas they are fully cooked, soft and fluffy.

Thousand Oaks Café on Austin Hwy has never disappointed us! You definitely get the ambiance of an old-school diner inside the restaurant, and the friendly staff provides good service. I ordered the huevos rancheros plate with sausage, they are one of the few places that actually offer sausage patties so I was pleased with that. Everything was very tasty especially the ranchero sauce because it's actually spicy and seasoned very well. My husband got the chorizo and egg plate which I was surprisingly impressed with. I've noticed here in Texas that a lot of Mexican restaurants use a chorizo that has a gamey or vinegary taste and this one does not. The tortillas are fantastic and the coffee is excellent. I wish we still lived on the side of town because we would be here a lot more often!
